Jay’s main role is mechanic, but his nickname is “Jack” because he is the “Jack of all trades.” He’ll drive truck on occasion and is also learning the dispatch role. Each day is a new challenge, which he enjoys. Jay appreciates the family feel of Woody’s Trucking. “I work with a bunch of good people which makes it easy to get out of bed in the morning and go to work.”
Dispatch Assistant, September 2019
Kenzie, or the “baby of the company” (as she self-proclaimed), prides herself in being a fast learner. This will be beneficial to the fast-paced dispatch area where she plays an important role in providing excellent customer service, preparing accurate driver paperwork and setting up delivery appointments to ensure on-time delivery. Kenzie is no stranger to trucking! Her dad, stepdad and their fathers were truck drivers, as well as her mom formerly working in the trucking industry. Working closely with her dad in his repair shop, as well as her stepdad being a mechanic, she has gained a lot of mechanical knowledge. All of this was influential in Kenzie’s decision to join the Woody’s Trucking dispatch team. Getting her CDL is on her bucket list of things she would like to do. What Kenzie likes most about Woody’s Trucking so far, are the people and the family feel of the company; the closeness everyone has.
